I really like how Romans 12 reads in the Message:

Rom. 12.2 Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

In a world where it seems more and more difficult to fix our attention on anything for any length of time, we get a challenge and promise from the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul tells us, that if we stay focused on the things of God, and make his primary concerns our primary concerns we will be changed from the inside out. This is the kind of change we need.

You see, God wants to bring the best out of each and everyone us, but the question remains, are we quickly responding to His still small voice?

In what area do you need to concede, and say God I will do it your way? What has God asked you to do, and you haven't responded to?

These are just few questions I am chewing on.....
